  • Turaida Museum Reserve: There are numerous ancient traditions that Latvians observe and you'd get the best when you're there to enjoy them at Turaida Museum Reserve located in Sigulda. Look for Latvia's music traditions and explore the medieval castle.
  • Cesis: Cesis is a town with a mix of history and hipness. The ancient city has more than 800 years old history, and is one of the best-preserved cities in the Baltic region. The small streets of the Old Town have an extant layout and the creative shops and cosy cafes attract a large number of travellers. The town is a great venue for folk, pop and classical concerts in summer.
  • Gauja National Park: The Park is a great spot for getting rid of your stress. Maybe the best in your Baltic Travel trip. The hiking trails, the medieval castles and bungee jumping bobsleighing and other adventure activities would kill all the stress. Check out the sandstone outcrops, cliffs, caves and rocks are the major attraction. The reddish, greyish and yellow sandstones are thought to be formed about 370 million years ago.
  • Latgale: Latgael is an important tourist place worth visiting with a museum for the legendary artist Mark Rothko to Aglona Basilica. Latgale is known as the 'Land of Blue Lakes'. The greatest number of lakes lies in the area enclosed by Aglona, Kraslav and Ezenieki. Many of the lakes are interconnected. The town is also known for good craftsmanship – blankets, patterned bedspreads, bets and patch rugs are remarkable.
